Some comments from channel calls conducted in the last two years (not by me)
Here are some snippets from transcripts over the past few years. Start-ups are always scrappy, so a few inexperienced executives isn’t a concern. However, the consistent feedback re: sweetheart deals for the board/investors and aggresive pricing is concerning and comfirmatory of my suspicisons from the original post.
I also fear that S&M costs have been artifically low as the company has relied on its board/investors for customer acquisition. It may explain why S&M costs have increased so considerably in recent times.
